The Organization
The name “ COMING HOME ” reflects our deep belief that every child deserves a safe place to call home, filled with love and care. Our journey began with a small home sheltering a few children, but through dedication and community support, we have expanded our reach to serve many more.

TANKIDS COMING HOME (NGO) is a non-profit organization based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, founded with a mission to restore hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging to orphans and vulnerable children. The organization was established by a group of compassionate individuals who recognized the growing number of children living in difficult circumstances—those affected by poverty, neglect, and loss of parental care. Since its founding, TANKIDS COMING HOME has worked tirelessly to provide shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional support to children in need.
